My name is Bartek Karpowicz. I love poker, reading books, and keeping my mind occupied, so I came up with an idea to connect my interests and created this website.
Reading and writing about poker books and strategies helped me to improve my game. Hence, I want to share my extensive knowledge to help you move your game to the next level.

My Poker Background
I am a semi-pro poker player and have been playing since 2010, and as per my latest calculations, I am currently a ‘break even’ MTT player, which is the poker format I enjoy the most. As you know, when it comes to the tournaments, ROI can change anytime, so hopefully, I will be soon updating this part :).
Though, I am a winning player in other poker games.
For a long time, I specialized mainly in satellites (especially Sunday Million). Nowadays, I play cash because it is hard to commit a few undisturbed hours to a tournament with my recently born son.

Short Life Story
I was born in Poland and also lived for seven years in Ireland.
I got my Master’s degrees in both countries and spent one year on a student exchange program in Germany.
In my day-to-day work, I am a Fraud and Compliance Analyst in a Finance Company.
Currently, I live in Vienna, together with my wife, son and a dog, Pongo (in the picture, studying human body language).
