Delving into the lifestyle of a poker pro, Ace on the River is not so much of an “Advanced Poker Guide” as it’s being advertised. In fact, it’s more of a personal story of Barry Greenstein and his experiences on and off the poker table.

This is not to say that this book isn’t any good. It’s just that if you’re looking for a true poker guide with actual strategies and advice on how to approach the game, it will have very little to offer. Still, those of you who wish to take a peek at the life of a committed poker player and his highs and lows will most definitely have a fun read.
