Course Content
Upon enrolling in the TMC Apprentice, you’ll gain access to the instructional modules that include video lessons and other educational resources. The course features the following modules.

Furthermore, Bencb explains complex ideas clearly and offers strategies for applying them in tournament situations. However, if you don’t have intermediate poker knowledge, his explanations will be difficult to understand.
Pros & Cons of the poker course
Originality
I have to say that Bencb delivers unique insights and techniques not commonly found in other resources, such as:
- analyzing players’ population tendencies,
- regularly updating tournament ranges for all the possible situations you can face at the poker table,
- adapting to different MTT player styles,
- or exploiting specific tournament structures.
He incorporates cutting-edge research or innovative approaches like expert range viewer. Benjamin also provides customized examples and exercises that simulate real-world tournament scenarios, such as analyzing hand histories or creating optimal bet-sizing strategies.
What are the strengths of the Tournament Masterclass Apprentice Level?
Benjamin ‘Bencb’ Rolle is hugely passionate about poker; you can see it from his videos. All the tournament strategies that he delivers are exhaustively analyzed and confirmed as successful via his massive MTT winnings. He really wants you to learn proper tournament poker and make as few mistakes as possible. However, he also says that:
“Every player makes mistakes”
One major strength of the Apprentice Masterclass course is its practical approach to learning. The course includes numerous examples and hand histories to illustrate key concepts. This practical, real-world approach helps to make the material more relatable and easier to understand. In addition, it also has interactive assignments that allow you to test your knowledge and reinforce your understanding of essential ideas.
What are the weaknesses?
There are a few drawbacks to the Apprentice Masterclass course that prospective students should consider. The course’s emphasis on tournament poker is not helpful for those trying to hone their skills in cash games. Although many of the concepts you can apply to your cash game strategy. If you are a novice player with little poker experience, it could be challenging to understand several aspects of the course since many of them are very complex. The course may also be time-consuming, as it consists of dozens of hours of video content and requires a significant commitment to thoroughly absorb all of the material. It could be a challenge for players with limited time to study poker strategy.
My Recommendation
Because you receive a thorough guide on how to play each MTT stage, free hand range charts for each position, and detailed information on how to finish the tournament as a winner, it takes years off the learning curve. I wish a course like this had existed when I started my tournament career. The Raise Your Edge Apprentice course is an excellent option if you are an intermediate or advanced tournament player looking to take your poker game to the next level. If you are a beginner player, I advise you to start with BlackRain79 Elite Poker University. And for total beginners that have zero poker knowledge, I recommend starting with reading blogs or poker books for beginners. The Raise Your Edge Apprentice is well-structured, practical, and engaging.
It provides the tools and resources you need to improve your game. You will get personalized coaching, a supportive community, and a focus on developing a winning mindset.
I highly recommend RYE Apprentice to players who cannot afford the Expert Masterclass package since even the Apprentice class will take your game to the next level. *Assuming you are ready to commit long studying hours. And yes, it seems expensive, but you get what you pay for. It will pay for itself if you’re willing to put in the time and effort.
